Leather Apex is Kenya’s first umbrella body representing leather associations to promote efficiency in the leather value chain. The umbrella association engaged IDMA to devise a launch strategy with the goal of increasing brand awareness through integrated marketing channels that included both above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL). 

We jumped right into brainstorming the ideas with the team and designed a unique brand identity alongside a launch strategy to engage the different levels of stakeholders. We curated authentic interactions with the target audience and rolled out a multichannel strategy on key digital platforms that effectively reached the target audience both off and online.

Result?

Successful launch with people from the private and public sectors with over 10 associations represented. With our PR efforts, The launch was covered by over 8 local media and international media platforms during prime time news.
